Architectural Drafting
The Architectural Drafting program is intended to prepare students for careers as drafters or related occupations in industry, as well as transfer to an architectural program. The program provides students with entry-level computer and architectural drafting skills and knowledge.
Competencies include AutoCAD-generated drawings, current architectural drafting, and construction technology practices, 2-D and 3-D drawings, and drafting techniques such as clarity, line weight expression, and accuracy, to name a few.

Our Architectural Drafting Course and architectural drawing will teach you the technology and techniques required to create working architectural drawings for both residential and commercial projects. Learn how to draw conceptual design drawings and models, as well as how to prepare building permit drawings. Building science, the Ontario Building Code, and computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) are all topics to learn if you want to work in the architectural design industry.

Who Are Eligible ?
For admission, students must meet the Architecture eligibility requirements.
- Students must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
- A minimum of 50% in their 10+2th examination is required.
- Students must have completed 10+2 physics, chemistry, and mathematics courses.
- Diploma students can also pursue this course.
